I’d be willing to go out on a limb and say that there would be no industrial music without Suicide. So many people are heavily influenced by them. Ohgr from Skinny Puppy frequently cites them and you can even hear it in all his music. Rollins Band even covered “Ghost Rider” for The Crow Soundtrack and Leftover Crack sampled the song “Cheree” for their single “Born to Die” on Mediocre Generica.

Sadly, I was out of the loop until recently when I read an interview with Cevin Key of Skinny Puppy and he stated that his favorite band was Suicide. I (of course) had to have them.

Finding their music is slim pickins, but if it can be obtained, I would highly recommend to buy it–if only for the resale value.
