I don’t have much info on this album, but I can tell you that it’s a live bootleg from 1978 featuring the Damned with Lemmy Kilmister of Motorhead playing bass.
Where does this fit in with LA? Well, that’s where this concert took place. Apart from this live bootleg wherein the antics of Lemmy and members of the Damned are priceless there was one song recorded in the studio, the Kinks’ “Ballroom Blitz.” It was released as a b-side for “I Just Can’t Be Happy Today.” When Lemmy takes the vocals during “New Rose,” the outcome is priceless. |
