Undoubtedly the heaviest Social Distortion album, it certainly is their best.
After a struggle with kicking off heroin then getting it back then kicking it then back then off then back then finally off, Social D released this masterpiece. This album was proceeded by a tour and one concert in particular became a fucking amazing live recording: Live at the Roxy. There’s a sincerity to this album that none of the other releases by Social D have. It feels more personal than their earlier works. From the forgiveness of “I Was Wrong” to the sheer grittiness of “Gotta Know the Rules” this album really has it all.
