Since I was a wee lad I have always been attracted to the things others were repulsed by. I thought that booger eating and inventing potty words were the talents that God had given me above my church mates. To me, those who were offended or grossed out by my words and actions weren’t worthy of my friendship or the respect my parents and pastors demanded I show them.

I am now in my late 20′s and this mentality has only evolved in the sense that I have a profound respect for everyone I encounter- whether my demeanor repels them or not. I have retained my sexual affinity to offending and bring discomfort to the people occupied around me. The human is a scared animal. We are afraid of our evolution, our intelligence, our faith, our horniness, our vocabularies, our emotions, our thoughts, our creation, every living thing around us, and every other person’s “inability” to see the world the way we personally chose to. The concept of individualism is equal parts nightmarish as it is Utopian.

It is a yearning deep inside of me to destroy the borders between the ego and the soul. I am an animal. I am a horny animal. I am a horny animal that wants nothing more than to create, experience, and celebrate this beautiful, chaos filled planet we inhabit.
